Hvilke inspektionsydelser kan danske Vejere og Målere udføre

– nu og i fremtiden?

The aims of the Danish Weights and Measures Inspectorate can be stated simply.

"To perform, document and guarantee objective inspection for national and international customers"

Amongst these customers are trading companies, arbitrators, producers of raw materials, grain and
feed traders, abattoirs, exporters of manufactured goods, public authorities, insurance companies,
accountants and law firms.

Today the main functions of the Inspectorate include:
    * Weighing of goods.
    * Taking samples for Quality Control testing as required by customers.
    * Overseeing the inspection and sealing of export shipments.
    * Assessing and controlling the transportation of loose and liquid goods.
    * Evaluating the loss on behalf of insurance companies in cases where there has been damage to goods.
    * Assessing stock for accounting purposes in connection with the transfer of business undertakings.
